More than 100,000 people attended a Ukraine solidarity march in Berlin on Sunday, police said. Many protesters were dressed in the blue and yellow colours of the Ukraine flag.
Protesters took to the streets in support of Ukraine and to condemn Russia’s ongoing military operation in the country.
Several protests are taking place around the globe following Russia launching a military operation in Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday.
After Russia’s onslaught, Europe, the US, and the UK strongly condemned and announced sanctions against Russia, targeting several Russian banks, individuals, and bilateral trade.
