The birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is being celebrated across the country today. The great Maratha’s birth anniversary is celebrated on February 19. A member of the Bhonsle clan of Marathas, he was crowned as the Chhatrapati of his realm at Raigad in 1674.
Prime Minister Modi was one of the first to remember the great Maratha.
The CM of Goa and others also paid tribute to Shivaji Maharaj.
