Apollo Pharmacy which is a subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals has announced that they have collaborated with the Online retail giant Amazon to sell their pharmaceutical products.
The official statement released by Apollo Hospitals states “This is to inform you that Apollo Pharmacies Limited, an associate company of the company, has decided to list its pharmacy products on Amazon.” The company is confident that with the entry of Apollo pharmacy on Amazon, there will be ease of access for Indian customers to buy its healthcare products.
Before entering into this partnership, Apollo Pharmacies were selling its healthcare products in offline stores as well as on its own online portal.
With Reliance’s recent acquisition of NetMeds and Tata Digital’s acquisition of 1mg, online pharmacy is becoming a competitively minded industry.
